Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorsen slips a jab and a cross from Ollila.
Ollila misses with an uppercut. Thorsen saw that one coming.
Thorsen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Thorsen could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Ollila throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Thorsen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ollila paws at him with a jab and circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ollila is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Thorsen is staying active.

Ollila might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Thorsen kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Despite being in the dominant position, Ville Ollila just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Thorsen crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ollila - the referee stops the clock and Thorsen gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ollila. Thorsen manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
