The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conner slips a jab from Williams.

Conner walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

And Williams counters with a quick kick to the body but Conner blocks it.

It looks like Williams has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Williams fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Conner has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Williams closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Conner is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Williams.

Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Conner throws a lazy right hand but Williams sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Conner rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Williams looks to score with a jab to the body but Conner is just out of range.
Williams lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Conner circles away quickly and effectively.

Williams turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Conner lands a jab.
Conner staying out of range there.

Conner feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Williams sprawling to the canvas! Williams rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Conner finish him?!

Williams is rocked!
Conner connects with a body shot that sends Williams's belly button to the back.
Oh Williams is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Williams swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Williams seems to have got his legs back now.

Conner pivots, looking for a leg kick but Williams is out of range and Conner settles back down.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Conner lands a big right hand that sends Williams crashing to the mat! Conner stays standing though and waves Williams back to his feet!
Conner needs to keep his hands up - Williams had a free shot at his head there.
Williams shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

That was a close round but I would say that Daniel Williams will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Conner pounces like a tiger and cracks Williams with a vicious hook! Williams is down but not out! Conner follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
