Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dave Kopp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlos Oliveira!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kopp has his takedown stuffed
and Oliveira cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Dave Kopp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Oliveira wants to control from the top but Kopp keeps moving.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Oliveira has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Kopp has a takedown stuffed.
A little jabbing left from Oliveira on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well Oliveira has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In defeat, Dave Kopp stepped up to the mic, saying 'Man, Stumpy got lucky, I want a rematch!'.
