The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Semerad misses with a jab to the body
and Stubb counters with a nice uppercut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Semerad. Stubb does a little dance to reset his feet.
Stubb scores with a nice head shot.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Stubb misses with a two punch combination.
Stubb lands with a hook. Semerad tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Semerad is rocked!
Stubb lands a body shot.
Oh Semerad is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Stubb clinches.
Semerad seems to have got his legs back now.

Semerad turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Semerad is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Stubb has escaped the position, nice work there.

Semerad tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Stubb is pushing Semerad's head away, looking to escape. Semerad manages to hold on to the position though.
Stubb keeps Semerad under control for a moment.

Semerad is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Stubb is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Stubb wants to control but Semerad postures up.

Semerad looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stubb can do anything to dispel that myth.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Semerad has hold of Stubb's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Stubb tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Semerad cranks the arm and Stubb screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Stubb, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
