Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Oliver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arshad Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aaron Oliver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arshad Singh!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oliver decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Singh makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Singh.
Singh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Oliver is one step ahead there.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Singh comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Singh fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Oliver sprawls well initially but Singh persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Singh has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Oliver escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Oliver!
Arshad Singh is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Oliver tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Oliver has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Aaron Oliver has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Singh is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Oliver's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
