The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fish misses with a wild combination.
A little jabbing left from Flodder on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Fish lands an overhand right.
Flodder throws a nice looking combination but Fish bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Fish moves out of range of the strikes.
No joy there for Flodder, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fish slips a straight right by Flodder.

Fish instigates a clinch.

Flodder breaks the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fish is defended easily by Flodder.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Flodder throws an overhand right that lands on Fish's shoulder, as Fish tries to avoid the shot.
Albert Fish seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fish throws a body kick that misses.
Fish uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Flodder throws a series of punches but Fish moves out of range.
A quick step to the side and Fish tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Flodder walks into a left hand.
Fish lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Fish gets in close and instigates a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fish tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Flodder wants to break the clinch but can't.
Flodder is trying to break the clinch but Fish is controlling him.
Flodder working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Flodder has had enough of the clinch but Fish keeps him there for the moment.
Fish keeps control of Flodder as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Flodder wants to get back to striking at distance but Fish won't allow it.
Flodder is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Flodder wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Flodder escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fish comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Fish scores with a jab. Flodder acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A thudding body kick lands there by Fish!

Flodder ducks under a wild hook from Fish.
It seemed like Flodder was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Flodder takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Flodder misses with a left hand
and Fish counters with a huge left! Flodder is in big trouble! He's backing up but Fish isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Flodder from any more damage. A dominating finish by Fish!
