Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dorian Mcclain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kwik Li Gon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kwik Li Gon will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dorian Mcclain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kwik Li Gon!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gon dives in and scores a takedown into Mcclain's guard.
Gon looking to pass the guard.

Gon drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Mcclain dives on top into guard.

Gon looking for a sweep. Not yet Gon, not yet.

Mcclain decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gon, up you get!
Gon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mcclain is fending him off so far but Gon persists. Nope, Mcclain circles away and we're back to standing.
Gon leaves Mcclain with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mcclain gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gon to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Mcclain throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mcclain keeping full guard, as Gon tries to pass.
Gon is pushing down on Mcclain's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mcclain is fighting to maintain full guard but Gon has managed to sneak the leg through.
Gon trying to pass the guard but Mcclain defending well.
Mcclain might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mcclain pushes Gon off looking to stand but Gon dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gon is pressing down on Mcclain's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mcclain is holding on for now.
Gon keeps trying to improve his position.
Mcclain could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mcclain is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Mcclain is breathing heavily.
Gon works his way into full mount!

Gon is working for a guillotine from mount but Mcclain frees his head quite easily.
Gon content just to control the position here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Gon looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Gon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mcclain is looking to escape.
Gon is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Mcclain wants to control but Gon is having none of it.
Gon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Gon has control of Mcclain's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mcclain regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Gon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Gon trying to control but Mcclain is having none of it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Gon sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kwik Li Gon dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Gon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mcclain as he jumps to the side.
Gon stuffs the takedown.
Gon displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mcclain.

Gon looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Mcclain!
Gon staying calm.
Mcclain is looking for a sweep.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
You can see the frustration on Mcclain's face as Gon controls the position.
Gon advances to mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gon controlling from the full mount.

Gon is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Gon extends the arm and Mcclain is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Kwik Li Gon!
After winning the bout, Kwik Li Gon thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
