Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darius Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerard De Villefort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gerard De Villefort told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gerard De Villefort!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Lou da Vinci and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller cracks a nice hook into De Villefort's ribs.
De Villefort slips a jab from Miller.
Miller tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The fighters circling - Miller throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Miller gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Miller has a couple of punches blocked by De Villefort.
De Villefort is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Miller to keep the fight standing.

De Villefort shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Miller pinned against the cage. Miller gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Miller stalks De Villefort and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into De Villefort's face. De Villefort staggers backwards, shaken.

Miller loads up on a big right hand but De Villefort slips the punch.
It seemed like De Villefort was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Miller scores with a crisp jab that stopped De Villefort in his tracks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Miller manages to work his way to half guard, despite De Villefort's best efforts.
De Villefort is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Miller as he works his way to full guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Miller parries the strikes from De Villefort easily there. De Villefort is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Miller to escape.
De Villefort lands a big left to the face of Miller, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from De Villefort and another - Miller is out! De Villefort stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.
