Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Fadden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabe Thurgood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fadden comes into the arena with Walk blaring out of the sound system. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Fadden.
Jack Fadden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fadden misses the shot to the body.
Fadden throws a lazy right hand but Thurgood sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Thurgood keeps the fight on the outside.
Fadden swings for the body but Thurgood moves out of range.
Fadden tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Thurgood was well out of range. Poor timing from Fadden.
Thurgood jabs Fadden right on the nose. Fadden blinks but takes it well.
Thurgood misses with a wild body shot.
Fadden throws a sloppy head kick and Thurgood moves out of range easily.

Thurgood keeps the fight on the outside.
Fadden bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Thurgood's head.

It looks like Gabe Thurgood has been cut.
Thurgood scores with a crisp jab that stopped Fadden in his tracks.

A bone on bone clash there as Fadden blocks the leg kick.
Fadden shoots for a takedown but Thurgood saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Fadden fails to land the takedown.
Fadden shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thurgood pinned against the cage. Thurgood gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Fadden. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thurgood connects with a right hand. Fadden shakes it off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thurgood catches Fadden napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Fadden to the canvas!

Thurgood forces his way into half guard.
Still in half guard, Thurgood seems content to control.
Thurgood's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Thurgood wants to stand up but Fadden has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Thurgood looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Fadden is looking for a sweep. Thurgood is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Thurgood decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Fadden tries to clinch but Thurgood is having none of it.
Fadden shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Thurgood as he jumps to the side.
Fadden shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Thurgood but Thurgood pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Thurgood cracks Fadden with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Fadden doesn't manage to clinch there - Thurgood circles away.
Thurgood fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fadden looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Thurgood lands a jab to Fadden's midsection.
Thurgood lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Fadden falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
