Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mikey Moo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axel Whitecoat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whitecoat has chosen Seven Nation Army as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitecoat closes the distance but Moo moves to the side
and Moo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Moo counters with a two punch combo.
A looping hook to the body misses from Whitecoat. Moo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Moo went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Whitecoat's coach down at Palazzo Paisano was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Whitecoat's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Moo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Whitecoat walks away with a smile on his face. Moo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

It looked like Moo was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Moo takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Moo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Moo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Moo passes Whitecoat's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Moo seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Whitecoat has recovered full guard.
Moo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Whitecoat swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Mikey Moo will probably get the nod.

Moo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Whitecoat doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Moo is tightening it up a little... Whitecoat has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Whitecoat reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Whitecoat taps out! Nice BJJ there by Moo!
