Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Morgan Earp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matty Deuche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Deuche closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Earp flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Earp is not content to let Deuche control the position.
Deuche tries to pass the half guard into mount. Earp knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Deuche stands up and beckons Earp to join him on the feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Deuche tries for a takedown but Earp sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Deuche has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Earp is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Deuche.

Deuche is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Earp's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Earp's back!

Deuche is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Earp defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Matty Deuche dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The crowd cheers as Earp lands an impressive looking overhand right. Deuche doesn't seem phased though.

Deuche has control of Earp's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Earp regains control of the situation pretty easily. Earp has given up his back here. Will Deuche look for the submission or keep pounding away?

Deuche is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Earp defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
