Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yuki Masakazu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Panupong Singsurat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masakazu comes to the cage accompanied by Roken / DEEP MACS HEADBANGERS. Yuki Masakazu is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yuki Masakazu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Panupong Singsurat!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masakazu goes for a double leg but Singsurat avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Singsurat continues to drive forward.
Masakazu shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Singsurat counters with a left to the body.
Masakazu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Singsurat closes the distance and clinches.

Singsurat breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Singsurat rushes Masakazu and presses him up against the cage.

Singsurat works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Singsurat stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Singsurat throws a right hand that Masakazu ducks under and follows up with a left that Masakazu also avoids with ease.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Masakazu fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

and Singsurat connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Masakazu really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Panupong Singsurat showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Masakazu's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Masakazu is not content to let Singsurat control the position.
Singsurat might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Masakazu haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Singsurat passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Masakazu!

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Masakazu is trying to escape the mount.
Panupong Singsurat is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Masakazu has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Panupong Singsurat comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Singsurat has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Panupong Singsurat seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
The defeated Yuki Masakazu had this to say: 'He got lucky! I'll be back!'.
