The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lorenzo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lorenzo looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Paddon throws a head kick that misses
and Lorenzo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lorenzo's jab looks to have found its range, popping Paddon under the eye.
Lorenzo moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Paddon scores with a hook.
Lorenzo misses with a hook.
Lorenzo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Paddon misses with a right hand
and Lorenzo counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Paddon thinking.
Paddon misses with an uppercut.
Paddon throws a lazy uppercut
and Lorenzo counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Paddon throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Paddon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lorenzo blocks a jab.
Lorenzo throws out a counter right but Paddon avoids it with no problem.
Donk. Paddon catches Lorenzo right on the button with a cross.
Darren Paddon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed right hand from Paddon misses the target.

Lorenzo instigates a clinch.
Lorenzo lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Paddon backwards.
Lorenzo misses with a punch on the inside.

Lorenzo throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Paddons head.
Paddon is looking to break free of the clinch but Lorenzo has double underhooks.
Paddon lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Paddon pulls Lorenzo into guard.
Paddon wants to sweep but no luck.
Paddon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Paddon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lorenzo is just riding it out for now. Paddon eventually gives up the hold.
Paddon wants to take a breather but Lorenzo is having none of it.

Paddon seems to be working for a kimura but Lorenzo defends the submission attempt.
Lorenzo is trying to get back to full guard.

Paddon looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Paddon is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Lorenzo is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
