Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Statham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Caldwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jason Statham has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jason Statham seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caldwell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Caldwell's coach down at London MMA Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Caldwell's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Statham throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Caldwell.

Caldwell has managed to clinch.
Caldwell fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Statham can't get the takedown.

Caldwell breaks from the clinch.
Caldwell scores with a three punch combo!

It looks like Jason Statham has been cut.
Statham misses with a looping right.
Statham misses with a low kick.
A head kick misses from Caldwell.
Caldwell checks a low kick from Statham.
Caldwell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Statham swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Statham throws a head kick but Caldwell moves out of range.
Caldwell misses with a few strikes there.

Caldwell clinches with his opponent.

Statham prevents a body shot from Caldwell.
Statham misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Caldwell.

Statham is trying to drag Caldwell to the mat but Caldwell just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Caldwell breaks from the clinch.
Statham definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Statham keeps the fight on the outside.

Caldwell shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Caldwell showed some decent athleticism there.
Caldwell passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Statham!
Statham is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Caldwell takes Statham's back.

Caldwell has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Statham has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Caldwell is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Statham has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
