Horrible takedown attempt by Vini or perhaps it was just good defense by Begovic, which made it look bad.
Vini looks to score with a jab to the body but Begovic is just out of range.
Vini shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Begovic as he avoids it easily.

That kick from Begovic tenderised Vini's leg. Vini is trying to keep his angry face on.

Vini closes the distance and clinches up with Begovic, looking for a takedown. Vini pushes Begovic against the cage but Begovic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

A solid leg kick lands there for Begovic.

Mathias Vini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
