Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Noe Boyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlos Allegri!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allegri misses with a wild body shot.
Boyle looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Boyle misses with a body shot.
Allegri feints the counter takedown.
Boyle shoots for a takedown but Allegri saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Allegri darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Boyle fails with an attempt to clinch.
A shot to the body from Allegri misses
and Boyle counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Allegri throws a lazy uppercut
and Boyle counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Boyle dodges the punch combination from Allegri.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Allegri swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Boyle half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Allegri throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Boyle fires out a quick counter leg kick but Allegri just manages to avoid it.
Carlos Allegri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Allegri lands a jab to Boyle's midsection.
Boyle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Allegri throws a right and a left that both miss.
Boyle quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Allegri cracks Boyle with a good jab.
Allegri throws a shot from downtown. Boyle moves away and avoids it.
Allegri dives in and scores a takedown into Boyle's guard.
Boyle is trying to keep Allegri in close.
Allegri throwing strikes from guard but Boyle blocks nicely.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Allegri accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Allegri avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Boyle trying to keep a closed guard but Allegri is proving a slippery customer.
Boyle pulls Allegri in to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boyle is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Allegri is aware though and is defending well.
Allegri landing with the ground and pound.
Boyle is trying to keep Allegri in close.
Allegri scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Allegri trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Boyle pulls Allegri in to control the position.
Allegri is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Boyle is rocked!
Allegri lands a couple of elbows.
Oh Boyle is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Allegri arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Boyle's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Carlos Allegri!
