Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Dama.
Nice defenses there by Bishop.
Dama throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Dama looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Dama closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Dama throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Bishop controlling the position well.
Dama looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bishop trying to hold on to Dama's head to control him but Dama postures up.
Bishop landing small, sideways elbows.
Dama wants to take a breather but Bishop is having none of it.

Bishop makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bishop.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dama postures up in Bishop's guard and throws a big left but Bishop blocks it.

Dama wants to control from the top but Bishop keeps moving.
Bishop looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dama is one step ahead there.
Bishop avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Dama distracts Bishop with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Dama has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bishop utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bishop isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dama stacks Bishop on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dama!
Bishop parries the strikes from Dama easily there. Dama is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bishop to escape.

Dama wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bishop, who protects the arm well.

Dama is trying to get an arm triangle but Bishop is defending well.
Bishop manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Dama thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Dama scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Bishop is trying to control but can't.
Dama is trying to control. Bishop wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Dama is looking to stall here but Bishop recovers full guard.
Bishop has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dama can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Dama sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Bishop doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Dama paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Bishop - great work!
