Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Lodano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I Won't Back Down. Lucas Lodano has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lodano moves into the clinch.

Lodano has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Burns uses from the top position.
Burns stays in close to Lodano's body and controls the position.
Burns stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lodano swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Burns definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Lodano wants to sweep but no luck.
Burns slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Burns stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lodano swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Burns is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Lodano is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Lodano closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Lodano tries to throw a body punch but Burns avoids it by throwing Lodano back against the cage.

Burns lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Lodano on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Lodano tries to pull guard but Burns holds him up against the cage and eventually Lodano drops back down to his feet.

Lodano tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
William Burns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Lodano.

Lodano swings wildly with an uppercut but Burns uses good head movement to avoid it.

Lodano takes an elbow to the temple.

It looks like Lucas Lodano has been cut.
Lodano tries for a takedown but Burns manages to get underhooks.
Still in the clinch, Burns scores with a nice short uppercut.
Lodano misses with the head strike.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Burns creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Lodano pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Burns connects with a solid leg kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Burns, as that shot connected.
Lodano on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Burns's corner calls for a 1-2. Burns obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Lucas Lodano's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Burns throws a quick inside leg kick.

Burns cracks Lodano with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Burns has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Lodano to stand back up!

Lodano is rocked!
Burns flashes Lodano a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Lodano's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Lodano crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Burns punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
