Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between damian bain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bully Burks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bully Burks will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bain tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Burks swivels and escapes.

bain feints and as Burks raises his hands in defense, bain changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

bain drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Burks manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now bain has Burks in his guard.

bain has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Burks is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for bain.

That was a close second round but I would say that damian bain will probably get the nod.

Burks tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - bain cranks the arm and Burks screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Burks, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
