Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Hodges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pebbles OfCocoa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pebbles OfCocoa will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hodges shoots in and bounces OfCocoa off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hodges drops back looking for a leg! OfCocoa is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and OfCocoa manages to kick Hodges off! Hodges jumps back into OfCocoa's guard.
Hodges could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hodges working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
OfCocoa has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Hodges has passed into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OfCocoa is trying to work for a sweep but Hodges has mounted him!

OfCocoa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hodges. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hodges avoids the attempt from OfCocoa to control.
OfCocoa defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hodges.

Hodges has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
OfCocoa is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Hodges has taken his back!
OfCocoa won't enjoy being in this position. Hodges looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - OfCocoa is tapping - it's over boys! Hodges picks up the submission victory!
