Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Carey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Jager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jim Carey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carey fails to land with a series of punches.
Jager misses with a kick to the body.
Jager fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Carey on the side of the head.

It looks like Jim Carey has been cut.
Jager throws a series of punches but Carey moves out of range.
Jager lands with a nice body punch.

Carey shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Carey showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Carey not doing much here.
Carey thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Carey is looking for a kimura but Jager is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Carey to get the leverage.

Carey is tying to control. Jager wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Jager wants to get back to his feet.

Carey is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jager defends it well.
Carey is breathing heavily.
Jager is refusing to be controlled, as Carey sits in half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Carey crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jager - the referee stops the clock and Carey gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jager. Carey manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Jager lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Carey can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Jager and Carey drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Jager.
