Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Last King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruslan Anara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes into the arena with i just want it all blaring out of the sound system. Anara has chosen Kyrgyz Biyi as his entrance music. The key to victory for Last King has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ruslan Anara!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King throws a head kick that half lands.

Anara drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Anara stands up and beckons King to his feet.
King goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Ruslan Anara has been cut.
Anara takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
King slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Anara has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but King regains guard immediately.

King manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Anara turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Anara goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, King rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Anara's guard! Nice work there by King!

King stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anara swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Anara working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. King doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. King manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

King stands up and waves to Anara to follow him.
King connects with a single shot there.

Anara lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
King wants to improve his position but Anara is controlling well.

Anara looking to sit in guard and control but King gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Anara has his foot on King's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. King works his way back into a safe position though.

King stands up and waves to Anara to follow him.
King throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Anara rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but King moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Anara shoots in for a takedown but King shows good takedown defense.
Last King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ruslan Anara.

King is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Anara can do to turn this around?

Anara looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Anara closes the distance and clinches up with King, looking for a takedown. Anara pushes King against the cage but King circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Anara shoots for a double leg takedown but King sprawls well. He's pushed Anara's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Anara drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Anara jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Last King overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Anara is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. King knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for King, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
