Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 17 - 1, fighting out of London, Adamh Pearse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kajun Puno!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Ben Watson and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Puno blocks the low kick.
Pearse throws an overhand right that lands on Puno's shoulder, as Puno tries to avoid the shot.
Pearse throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Puno makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Pearse steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Puno. That one must have hurt.
Puno lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pearse, right into the meat.
Pearse throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Puno connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.


It looks like Adamh Pearse has been cut.
Puno misses with a body kick.
Pearse misses with a hook
and Puno counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Puno fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pearse.
Pearse throws a poor cross that misses
and Puno makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pearse takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Pearse gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Puno.
Puno jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Puno connects with a solid leg kick.
Pearse misses with a double jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Puno lands a big head kick that sends Pearse tumbling to the mat! Puno takes a step backwards and waves Pearse back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Puno throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Pearse throws a poor cross that misses
and Puno connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Puno lands with a nice body punch.
Pearse is breathing heavily.
Both fighters circling a little - Puno finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A nice inside leg kick there by Puno. That's going to slow Pearse down.

Puno drops Pearse with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pearse looks back up at him and smiles so Puno waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Pearse is rocked!
A slapping leg kick lands for Puno.
Pearse swings widly with a right hand
and Puno counters with a leg kick.
Pearse misses with an uppercut. Puno saw that one coming.
Pearse throws a body punch but Puno moves out of range.
Pearse misses with a left hand
and Puno counters with a right hand to the body.
Puno lands with a good body shot.

Puno lands a big head kick that sends Pearse tumbling to the mat! Puno takes a step backwards and waves Pearse back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Adamh Pearse's cut is getting worse.
Adamh Pearse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Puno feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Pearse sprawling to the canvas! Pearse rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Puno finish him?!
Oh Pearse is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Puno measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Pearse! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Kajun Puno!
During a confident post fight interview, Kajun Puno thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
