PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Damien Sandow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Peso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sandow comes to the cage accompanied by Aint No Grave . Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peso closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Peso takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
My spies in Thirteenth Legion MMA inform me that Peso has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Sandow has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Peso can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Sandow working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Peso doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Peso manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Sandow seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Sandow is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Peso lands a big elbow - Sandow is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Peso!
