PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pushing YourLuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexi Taiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taiga is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bukkake Tsunami by Cattle Decapitation. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Alexi Taiga was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taiga tries a head kick but it misses.

Taiga clinches with his opponent.
YourLuck misses with a shot to the kidneys.

YourLuck pulls Taiga into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Taiga pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. YourLuck is keeping the position for now.

YourLuck had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Taiga is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. YourLuck Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Taiga's back instead.

YourLuck working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.

YourLuck is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Taiga is defending well though. YourLuck let's go of the attempt for now.
Taiga is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get YourLuck off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
YourLuck is trying to stick to Taiga's back but Taiga is turning into YourLuck. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in YourLuck's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Taiga.

YourLuck escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Taiga gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

YourLuck has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Taiga can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Taiga is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
YourLuck controls Taiga momentarily but Taiga frees himself.
Taiga slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
YourLuck could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
YourLuck is trying to improve his position.
YourLuck prevents Taiga from moving into mount.
Taiga grinds an elbow into YourLuck's temple.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Taiga has knee on belly and moves into mount.
YourLuck tries to reverse the position but Taiga maintains control.
YourLuck is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Taiga tries to control but YourLuck wriggling away.
YourLuck tries to get back to half guard but can't.
YourLuck is breathing heavily.

Taiga wants to control the pace but YourLuck is squirming around nicely.

Taiga tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Taiga cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Taiga wants to control the pace but YourLuck is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alexi Taiga dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Taiga circles away from the clinch attempt.
Taiga drops YourLuck with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but YourLuck looks back up at him and smiles so Taiga waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

YourLuck is rocked!

It looks like Pushing YourLuck has been cut.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Taiga knocks YourLuck out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
