Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Atlas Metaxas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Sandman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Sandman is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Bruno Lombardi and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metaxas uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sandman.
Sandman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Metaxas tries to avoid it but Sandman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Metaxas to the ground. Metaxas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Metaxas stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Metaxas wants it to stay on the feet.

Sandman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Sandman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

That was a close second round but I would say that Atlas Metaxas will probably get the nod.
