The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laure with a lazy takedown attempt
and Conner counters with an inside leg kick.

Conner moves into the clinch successfully.
Laure tries to pull guard but Conner forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Laure gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Conner regains guard.

Conner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Laure thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Laure will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Conner is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Laure is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Laure lands a strong strike to the head of Conner. That's dazed him! Laure looking to finish here. Conner is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Laure lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
