Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Melkonian.
Melkonian tries for a takedown but Fujiati circles away easily
and Fujiati counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Fujiati won't allow Melkonian to sweep him here.
Fujiati drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Melkonian manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fujiati has Melkonian in his guard.

Melkonian drops back looking for a leg! Fujiati is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fujiati manages to kick Melkonian off! Melkonian jumps back into Fujiati's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fujiati is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Melkonian is aware though and is defending well.

Melkonian has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Fujiati to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Melkonian is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Fujiati pulls down on the head and he's put Melkonian to sleep! This one is all over!

Minowa Fujiati got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
