Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Baratheon scores with a four punch combination!
Soderberg tries for a takedown but Baratheon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Baratheon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Soderberg.
Soderberg lands a nice leg kick that just misses Baratheon's sensitive parts.
Baratheon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Soderberg counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Soderberg throws the left hand but Baratheon avoids the punch easily.
Baratheon misses with a series of wild punches.

Soderberg shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Baratheon as he jumps to the side.
Stannis Baratheon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Soderberg throws a nice inside leg kick.
Baratheon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A nice inside leg kick there by Soderberg. That's going to slow Baratheon down.
Baratheon jabs Soderberg right on the nose. Soderberg blinks but takes it well.
Baratheon throws a lazy right hand but Soderberg sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Soderberg wants to counter with a clinch but Baratheon pushes him away.
Soderberg lands a slapping body shot.
Baratheon misses with a combination
and Soderberg counters with a nice leg kick.
Soderberg fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Baratheon has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Baratheon misses with a left hand
and Soderberg counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Baratheon fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Soderberg has picked Baratheon up - he's going for a ride! Soderberg dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Baratheon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Soderberg winds up and cracks Baratheon with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Soderberg takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Baratheon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Soderberg has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Baratheon looking for submissions off his back.
Soderberg landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Baratheon looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Soderberg seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Soderberg working over Baratheon with some ground and pound. Baratheon looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Soderberg prevents Baratheon from improving his position.
Baratheon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Soderberg on the ground.

Soderberg pushes down on Baratheon's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Baratheon is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Soderberg scores with a couple of nice shots.

Soderberg is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Soderberg is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Soderberg landing strikes from the mount and Baratheon is in trouble!

The referee warns Baratheon that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Soderberg looking to finish Baratheon with some ground and pound. This is bad for Baratheon!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Soderberg pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Soderberg is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Baratheon is surviving well by controlling Soderberg's body position as best he can.

Baratheon is rocked!
Baratheon tries to lock up and control but Soderberg gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Soderberg loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Baratheon scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Soderberg land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Soderberg stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hjalmar Soderberg!
Hjalmar Soderberg looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'This was my retirement-fight. Thank you for everything. My chin just didn't hold up in past fights.'.
