Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Gang of Four - I love a Man in Uniform kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bear fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bear stuffs the takedown.
Kane shoots in for a double leg but Bear sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Horrible takedown by Kane or perhaps it was just good defense by Bear which made him look bad.
John Bear has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Kane.

Bear shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Kane is trying to keep Bear in close.

Kane has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bear can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bear drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kane dives on top into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bear on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bear tries to get out of the position.
Bear is trying desperately to improve position.

Kane is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bear has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Bear bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Kane is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Kane extends the arm and Bear is forced to tap!
