Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Orkan Dogu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Landen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Orkan Dogu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Landen!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landen scores with a kick to the body.
Landen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dogu was well out of range. Poor timing from Landen.
A lazy body kick from Landen
and Dogu counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Nice takedown defense from Landen. No joy for Dogu on that attempt.
Some bone on bone action there as Dogu checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Landen throws a leg kick that is checked
and Dogu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Landen thows a body kick. Dogu tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Landen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Landen attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Dogu blocks a low kick nicely.
Dogu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Landen.
Landen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Landen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Landen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Landen there as he acknowledges the shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Landen is looking to score with low kicks.
Dogu throws a sloppy body shot
and Landen counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Landen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Dogu scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Dogu waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Landen.
Paul Landen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dogu blocks a head kick by Landen.
Dogu went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Dogu punishes Landen's body with a nice straight punch.
Dogu ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Landen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Dogu feints and as Landen raises his hands in defense, Dogu changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dogu throws a big elbow that misses.
Dogu is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Dogu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dogu cracks Landen with a solid left hand.
Dogu lands a couple of digs.
Landen keeping moving, preventing Dogu from controlling successfully.
Dogu won't allow Landen to sweep him here.

Landen keeps trying to improve his position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dogu wants to control from the top but Landen keeps moving.

Landen is trying to get back to half guard.
Dogu in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Landen manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Dogu is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Landen wants to take a breather but Dogu is having none of it.
Dogu makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dogu.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Landen drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dogu dives on top into guard.

Landen is trying to keep Dogu in close.
Dogu wants to pass the guard but Landen is keeping the position.
Landen looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Dogu trying to control but Landen is working from the bottom.
Dogu connects with a couple of short punches.
Dogu postures up and lands a big shot to Landen's brow.
Landen wants to sweep but no luck.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Orkan Dogu dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Landen throws a head kick that misses.
Landen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dogu feinted with a counter takedown.
Landen walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dogu checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Dogu appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Landen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dogu swings for the body but Landen moves out of range.
Paul Landen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Landen throws a hook but Dogu blocks it.
Dogu stuns Landen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Dogu throws a body shot but no joy.
Landen misses with an uppercut.
Paul Landen seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Landen throws a nice inside leg kick.
Dogu pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Landen looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dogu on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Dogu misses the target.
Dogu is looking to wear down Landen with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Dogu connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Landen's hands.
Landen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Despite the aggression on Landen's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Landen throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Dogu throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Landen.
Dogu looks to score with a jab to the body but Landen is just out of range.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Landen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dogu has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dogu and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Dogu comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dogu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Landen throws a body kick that misses.
Landen misses with a low kick.
Dogu blocks a head kick by Landen.
Dogu appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Landen lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Dogu lands a jab.
Landen throws a head kick but Dogu moves out of range.

Dogu moves into range and connects with a jab.
Dogu dives in for a single leg takedown but Landen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Dogu counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Landen thinking.
Dogu stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Landen.

Dogu shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Landen napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Dogu scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Landen to see if he's OK.

Landen is working to avoid the ground and pound but Dogu connects with a decent elbow.
Landen is still in real trouble! Can Dogu finish him?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Check out the look on Dogu's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Dogu scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Landen is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Dogu can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Orkan Dogu!
Our winner, Orkan Dogu, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
