PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nestor Giles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nestor Giles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank White!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Chad Campbell and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Giles will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning White up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Nestor Giles will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Giles counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Giles is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because White is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
