Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Dimov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Jay misses the target.
Jay misses with a wild body shot.
A swing and a miss from Jay.
Dimov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jay.
Dimov blocks a jab.
Jay lands a glancing blow to the side of Dimov's head.
Jay throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Dimov tumbling to the canvas!

Dimov is rocked!
Jay throwing strikes from guard but Dimov blocks nicely.
Oh Dimov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Dimov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jay doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jay manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jay thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Dimov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Dimov seems to have got his legs back now.

Jay avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Dimov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jay can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Dimov is breathing heavily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Jay drops Dimov with a huge uppercut! Dimov drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Jay is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
