Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raja Barat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Simeon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barat kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Goyang Dumang. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that James Simeon was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Topper Green and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barat misses with a low kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Barat, right into the meat.
Simeon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Barat is fending him off so far but Simeon persists. Nope, Barat circles away and we're back to standing.

Simeon's coach down at Feed'em To The Lions was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Simeon's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Barat is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
