The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard rushes Gonzales and presses him up against the cage.

Gonzales is trying to pull guard but Howard has him pressed against the cage.

Gonzales ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gonzales no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Gonzales is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Howard defends well.
Howard controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Gonzales wants to sweep but no luck.
Gonzales isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Howard stacks Gonzales on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Howard!

Howard creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Gonzales's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Gonzales drops to his knees and Howard pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
