Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Castillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quirijn Flip Cobus YodRon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bobby Castillo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

YodRon closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Castillo quickly recovers to half guard.

Castillo manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. YodRon keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Castillo goes for a takedown in the clinch but YodRon prevents it.

YodRon manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
YodRon wants to stand up but Castillo is controlling him.

Castillo gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
YodRon throws a series of punches but Castillo avoids them all with ease.

YodRon feints and as Castillo raises his hands in defense, YodRon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

YodRon postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Castillo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of YodRon, into his guard.

YodRon had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Castillo defends it easily.

Castillo stands up and waves to YodRon to follow him.
Castillo tries to close the distance and clinch up but YodRon swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Castillo enables YodRon to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Castillo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
YodRon throws a strike but Castillo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

YodRon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Castillo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

YodRon has his foot on Castillo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Castillo works his way back into a safe position though.

Castillo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Castillo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
