Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Koschech Muttu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mason Dixon is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mason Dixon!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon stuffs the takedown.
A little jabbing left from Dixon on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Muttu tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dixon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Muttu fails to land the takedown.
Muttu fails with an attempt to clinch.
Muttu dodges the punch combination from Dixon.
Muttu wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Muttu looks to clinch
and Dixon counters with a two punch combo.
Dixon has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Muttu is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Muttu has taken the fight to the clinch.

Dixon breaks the clinch.
Dixon throws a right and a left that Muttu avoids nicely.

Koschech Muttu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Muttu doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Dixon counters with a stiff right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Koschech Muttu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Muttu darts in looking for a takedown but Dixon gets double underhooks and turns Muttu into the cage.
Muttu wants to clinch up but Dixon keeps it at a distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Muttu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dixon paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Mason Dixon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Muttu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dixon pinned against the cage. Dixon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Oh Muttu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dixon is pawing at Muttu, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Muttu's nose. Muttu is badly hurt! Dixon pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Muttu tries desperately to hold on but Dixon is relentless in his assault! As Muttu receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Dixon away and this one is in the books!
