The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haynes throws a right hand that Putin ducks under and follows up with a left that Putin also avoids with ease.
Haynes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Putin sprawls well. Putin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Haynes gets slowly back to his feet.

It looks like Dallas Haynes has been cut.

Putin has hold of one of Haynes's legs. Haynes is fighting the takedown attempt but Putin gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Haynes has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Putin off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Putin pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dallas Haynes.
