Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Carlton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Griezmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlton checks a low kick from Griezmann.
Griezmann has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Carlton.
Carlton throws a head kick that misses.
Griezmann moves into range and connects with a jab.
Carlton misses with an attempted mid kick.
Carlton throws the left hand but Griezmann avoids the punch easily.
Carlton takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Kyle Carlton has been cut.
Griezmann clobbers Carlton with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Carlton lands a really nice looking cross but Griezmann seems unphased.
That has opened up Ricardo Griezmann's cut even more.
Griezmann throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Carlton scores with a jab. Griezmann acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carlton blocks a head kick by Griezmann.
Griezmann walks into a left hand.
Carlton slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
The cut above Ricardo Griezmann's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Griezmann swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Carlton tries to land a front kick but Griezmann steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Nice jab there from Carlton.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Carlton, as that shot connected.
Ricardo Griezmann's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Carlton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Griezmann.
Carlton throwing a counter right hand but Griezmann manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A telegraphed right hand from Griezmann misses the target.
Carlton ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Carlton misses with a hook. Griezmann ducked under it nicely.
Griezmann lands a head shot.
That kick from Carlton tenderised Griezmann's leg. Griezmann is trying to keep his angry face on.
Griezmann jabs Carlton right on the nose. Carlton blinks but takes it well.
Carlton seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Griezmann misses with a hook to the body
and Carlton counters with a stiff right hand.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ricardo Griezmann's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kyle Carlton!
An out of breath Kyle Carlton thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
