Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between kezz elite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savage comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Little Red Rooster by Rolling Stones kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Savage drives through with a takedown into guard.
Savage should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Savage postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Savage escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. elite gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
elite stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Savage swivels though and keeps the full guard.

elite drops back looking for a leg! Savage is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Savage manages to kick elite off! elite jumps back into Savage's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Savage is trying to keep elite in close.
Savage utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Savage wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
elite shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Savage as he jumps to the side.

Savage pushes elite up against the cage in a clinch.
elite is pressed up against the cage. Savage has hold of a leg and is looking to drag elite down to the mat. elite avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

elite has control of Savage's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Savage regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Savage takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Savage takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

elite thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
elite sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Savage is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Savage is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but elite has just dragged him back down to the mat.
