Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Yolden. No joy for Zay on that attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zay.
Zay has a takedown stuffed.
Jeff Yolden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Zay.
Zay tries for a takedown but Yolden sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Zay throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yolden's waist but Yolden gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zay off to one side.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Zay doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Yolden decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Zay's guard.
Yolden slips nicely into half guard.
