Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stan Mckenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lorenzo Aiduki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stan Mckenzie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lorenzo Aiduki!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mckenzie goes for a double leg but Aiduki avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Aiduki continues to drive forward.

Aiduki closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Mckenzie has one foot on Aiduki's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Mckenzie tries to sprawl but Aiduki drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Aiduki is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aiduki is looking to advance position but Mckenzie won't allow it.
Mckenzie wants to get back to full guard but Aiduki has passed into side control.
Aiduki gets to mount! Mckenzie was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Aiduki jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Mckenzie manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Mckenzie tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Aiduki presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Mckenzie gets back to half guard.
Aiduki prevents Mckenzie from improving his position.
Aiduki content to control rather than advance.
Aiduki prevents Mckenzie from standing back up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Aiduki frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Aiduki controlling the pace for now.
Mckenzie tries to hold on but Aiduki postures up.
Aiduki thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Aiduki has hold of Mckenzie's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mckenzie manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Aiduki goes for an armbar but Mckenzie turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Mckenzie.

Mckenzie throws a big elbow that misses.

Aiduki had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mckenzie defends it easily.
Mckenzie makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Aiduki avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Mckenzie throws a strike but Aiduki rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mckenzie is on top in guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Lorenzo Aiduki will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Aiduki closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mckenzie quickly recovers to half guard.

Mckenzie has one foot on Aiduki's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Aiduki just misses with a punch to the body.
Mckenzie has his takedown stuffed
and Aiduki counters with a nice body shot.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Aiduki lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mckenzie backs up against the cage.
Aiduki misses with a few strikes there.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nice takedown defense from Aiduki. No joy for Mckenzie on that attempt.
Mckenzie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Aiduki sprawls well. Aiduki wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mckenzie gets slowly back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lorenzo Aiduki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Aiduki passes Mckenzie's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Mckenzie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Aiduki stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Aiduki throws a leg kick but Mckenzie sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Stan Mckenzie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Aiduki fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mckenzie sprawls well initially but Aiduki persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Mckenzie is looking to escape.
Mckenzie regains full guard. Nicely done.
Aiduki engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Aiduki trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Aiduki controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Aiduki gets to his feet. Mckenzie looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Mckenzie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Aiduki is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mckenzie is just riding it out for now. Aiduki eventually gives up the hold.

Aiduki seems to be looking for submissions.
Mckenzie tries to kick Aiduki off in order to stand up. Aiduki Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Aiduki stands up and beckons Mckenzie to his feet.

Aiduki shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mckenzie's guard.
Mckenzie is looking to stand back up but Aiduki counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Mckenzie.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Aiduki tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mckenzie knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Aiduki prevents Mckenzie from standing back up.

Lorenzo Aiduki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Aiduki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
