Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Meridius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cruz comes to the cage accompanied by My Way - Limpbizkit. Maximus Meridius has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Cruz looks to land a combination but Meridius avoids it well.
Cruz scores with a hook to the body. Meridius takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Cruz scores with a sloppy right hand. Meridius should have avoided that one.

Cruz tries to sprawl but Meridius drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Meridius thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cruz's head.
Meridius lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Meridius working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Meridius winds up and cracks Cruz with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Meridius is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Meridius scores with a big shot! Cruz's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Cruz! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

An intense looking Maximus Meridius took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Are you entertained? Are you not entertained?!?!?'.
Rafael Cruz spoke after the fight, saying 'I work hard on jew jizzsu, but he is the great guy tonight. I work jew jizzsu and come back better'.
