The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asap misses with the combination.

Hoe clinches up with Asap and pushes him back against the cage.

Asap is trying to drag Hoe to the mat but Hoe just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Asap holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Hoe tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Asap keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Asap bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Hoe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Asap can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hoe takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
