Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andrzej Gajewski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Tsoi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gajewski comes to the cage accompanied by Smile. Tsoi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Zvezda po Imeni Solnce. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 45 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrzej Gajewski!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Viktor Tsoi!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsoi throws a front kick aimed at Gajewski's knee but Gajewski avoids it well.
Good work by Gajewski as he checks the leg kick.
Tsoi misses with a hook. Gajewski ducked under it nicely.
Gajewski takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Crunch! Tsoi slams his shin into Gajewski's torso.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tsoi connects with a crisp jab.
Gajewski throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gajewski blocks a head kick by Tsoi.
Gajewski is looking for a counter combo.

Tsoi connects with a body shot that sends Gajewski's belly button to the back.
Gajewski avoids the body shot from Tsoi.
Gajewski misses with a right hand
and Tsoi counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Tsoi looks to land a body kick but Gajewski moved away.
Tsoi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Tsoi throws a head kick that misses.
It looked like Gajewski wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Gajewski counters with a series of strikes. Tsoi will be more careful next time no doubt.
Gajewski avoids the head kick by Tsoi.
A little feinted left hand from Gajewski on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Andrzej Gajewski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gajewski stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tsoi.
Tsoi staying out of range there.
Gajewski is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Tsoi takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Tsoi counters with a nice body kick.
Tsoi moves away from the strike by Gajewski.

Gajewski takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Tsoi ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Tsoi dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Tsoi misses with a jab to the body
and Gajewski counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gajewski. Tsoi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gajewski misses with a lunging right hand
and Tsoi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gajewski thinking.
Tsoi throws a hook but Gajewski avoids it easily.
Gajewski thinks about countering with a body kick.

Both fighters circling a little - Tsoi finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Gajewski scores with the left hand. Tsoi knows he should have avoided that one.
Gajewski moves out of range as Tsoi throws a body kick.
Tsoi misses with a body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A low kick from Tsoi misses
and Gajewski counters with a head kick. That will keep Tsoi thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Gajewski lands a nice looking body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Viktor Tsoi dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Gajewski looks to land a left hand but Tsoi moved out of range nicely.
Tsoi lands a nice shot that snaps Gajewski's head back.
Gajewski stuffs the takedown attempt from Tsoi. Tsoi gets slowly back to his feet.
It looked like Gajewski wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Tsoi lands with an overhand left.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tsoi on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

A low kick from Gajewski misses
and Tsoi counters with a stiff right hand.

Tsoi drops Gajewski with a left and a right! Oh, Gajewski is hurt - Tsoi dives into side control looking to finish!


Gajewski is rocked!
Tsoi trying to control the action but Gajewski is working from the bottom.
Gajewski is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

An elbow from Tsoi crashes against the mat.
Gajewski tries to buck Tsoi off but Tsoi is having none of it.
Tsoi trying to control the position but Gajewski is working away.

Tsoi is trying to get an arm triangle but Gajewski is defending well.
Tsoi working the ground and pound but Gajewski is defending the strikes.
Tsoi scoring with punches and elbows.

Tsoi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tsoi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tsoi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gajewski knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Gajewski is looking to reverse the position.
Gajewski is not content to let Tsoi control the position.
Tsoi tries to move into full mount but can't pass Gajewski's legs.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Tsoi goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Gajewski has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Tsoi but great work by Gajewski.
Tsoi has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Gajewski connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Tsoi some visible discomfort.
Tsoi is trying to get back to half guard.
Gajewski looks up at the clock and then as Tsoi takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Gajewski smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Tsoi takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tsoi is looking for a sweep.
Tsoi takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Viktor Tsoi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

A head kick by Gajewski misses
and Tsoi counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Gajewski throws a lazy right hand but Tsoi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gajewski throws an overhand right that lands on Tsoi's shoulder, as Tsoi tries to avoid the shot.
Tsoi lands with a kick to the temple. Gajewski shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Viktor Tsoi seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Tsoi throws a sloppy head kick and Gajewski moves out of range easily.

and Gajewski counters with a stiff right hand.
Tsoi scores with a decent looking hook.

A chopping leg kick lands by Tsoi.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tsoi. Gajewski does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gajewski appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Gajewski lands with a shot to the body.
Tsoi paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Tsoi tries a low kick but Gajewski avoids it.
Tsoi loads up on a big right hand but Gajewski slips the punch.

Gajewski misses with a body shot.
Tsoi ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Tsoi. Gajewski shrugs it off though.
Tsoi throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Tsoi throws a one two combo.
Oh Gajewski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Tsoi! Gajewski is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!

A relieved looking Viktor Tsoi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
