Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Lou da Vinci and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flavor shoots in looking for a takedown. Young tries to sprawl out of it but Flavor keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Young manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Young scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Flavor misses with a wild body shot.
Young throws a nice looking combination but Flavor bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Flavor tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Young throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Flavor misses the shot to the body.
A combination from Flavor does no damage.
Flavor fails to land the takedown.
Young drops Flavor with a left and a right! Oh, Flavor is hurt - Young dives into side control looking to finish!

Flavor is rocked!

It looks like Full Flavor has been cut.
Young controls the position.
Flavor is still in real trouble! Can Young finish him?

Young stands up.
Flavor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Young moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Flavor seems to have recovered his senses.

Flavor misses with an attempted mid kick.
Flavor tries to clinch but Young moves out of range.
Young shoots in but no luck this time.
Young will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Young misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Young takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Flavor gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Young counters with a thumping low kick.

Young closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Young lands in his opponent's guard.
Young wanted to stand there but Flavor had control of the position.

Flavor can't keep his opponent in guard - Young advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Flavor is pressing down on Young's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Flavor is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Flavor working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Young doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Young manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Flavor pulls Young in close to prevent any damage.
Young is pushing down on Flavor's leg trying to pass to half guard. Flavor is fighting to maintain full guard but Young has managed to sneak the leg through.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Young in particular looking to stall.

Young decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Young tries to bum rush Flavor with a series of wild strikes but Flavor uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Full Flavor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Flavor tries a low kick but Young avoids it.

Flavor missing with punches from the bottom.

Young has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Young is trying to control the action in half guard but Flavor is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Flavor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Young as he jumps to the side.

Young connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Flavor some visible discomfort.
Young is working Flavor over with some ground and pound from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Young tries to move to mount but Flavor blocks the move with his legs.

Young tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Young has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Young wants to lay and pray for a moment but Flavor keeps working.
Flavor manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

The fighters are battling for position here. Young manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Flavor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Young swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Flavor postures up.

Young has his foot on Flavor's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Flavor works his way back into a safe position though.

Young is working an open guard so Flavor takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Flavor lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Young gets caught flat footed, as Flavor shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Flavor in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Flavor drops back looking for a leg! Young is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Young manages to kick Flavor off! Flavor jumps back into Young's guard.

Young is looking to reverse the position.
Young manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
