The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Basten misses with a right hand
letting Henley counter with a right hand.
Van Basten throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Henley wants to clinch up but Van Basten keeps it at a distance.
Van Basten scores with a jab to the jaw.
Van Basten throws a lazy right hand but Henley sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Henley connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Van Basten's hands.

Van Basten throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Van Basten misses with a lunging right hand
and Henley counters with a two punch combo.
The fight stays on the outside here - Van Basten looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Henley fails with an attempt to clinch.

Henley rushes Van Basten and presses him up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Henley lands a hook that snaps the head of Van Basten backwards.
Henley blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Henley.
Van Basten misses with a hook from the clinch.
Henley lands an elbow that stopped Van Basten in his tracks for a moment.

Van Basten is rocked!

It looks like John Van Basten has been cut.

Henley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Henley moves in looking to clinch but Van Basten pushes him off.
Henley uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Van Basten.
Van Basten has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Henley finds it's way round the side to connect with Van Basten's head.
Van Basten smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Van Basten misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Van Basten rushes Henley and presses him up against the cage.
Van Basten goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Van Basten can't find room to land a body shot as Henley controls the action.
Henley blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Van Basten misses with a punch to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee calls for Van Basten to work.

Henley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Henley is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Henley lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Van Basten goes down and covers up as Henley starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
