Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zubair Tukhugov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Banner comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pump Up The Jam kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner misses with a takedown attempt - Tukhugov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tukhugov tries to clinch up.
Banner drops his hands momentarily and Tukhugov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Banner misses the shot to the body.
Tukhugov connects with a nice looking jab.
Tukhugov tries to clinch there but Banner circles away.
Banner catches Tukhugov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

and Banner counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Tukhugov!
Tukhugov tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tukhugov tries to buck Banner off but he can't manage it.

Banner trying to control but he's not successful this time.

It looks like Zubair Tukhugov has been cut.

Banner with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Tukhugov wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Banner pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Tukhugov is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Banner sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Banner misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Banner is landing with some decent strikes but Tukhugov is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Banner unloads with some shots from mount but Tukhugov bucks and avoids them well.
Banner fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Banner has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
