Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marty Stephensson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stephensson. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jones has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD - Combat Fitness in the buildup to the fight.
Stephensson throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Jones finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Stephensson misses with a wild body shot.
Jones throws a shot to the body.
Jones looks to land a right hand but Stephensson moved out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Stephensson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Stephensson flicks out a counter leg kick but Jones steps away.

Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jones looks to throw the jab but Stephensson is out of range.
Stephensson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Stephensson keeps the fight on the outside.
A slapping leg kick lands for Stephensson.
Jones misses with a hook.
Stephensson catches Jones with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones throws a hook to the side of Stephensson's head but Stephensson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Sydney Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stephensson is looking to score with low kicks.
Stephensson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

A nice leg kick lands there from Stephensson.

Jones has taken the fight to the clinch.
Stephensson lands a hook to the side of the head.

Stephensson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stephensson throws a half hearted mid kick.
Jones seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Nice shot lands for Jones.
Stephensson is looking to land body kicks.
Jones tries to clinch there but Stephensson circles away.
Stephensson throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jones goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Stephensson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jones throws out a loose jab but Stephensson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Stephensson moves out of range of the body kick from Jones.
Jones is looking to clinch but Stephensson is avoiding it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones takes one to the chin there.
Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stephensson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jones's hands.
Jones takes one on the chin but seems OK.
BOOM! Jones lands a beautiful left hook that drops Stephensson. Stephensson tries to recover but Jones is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Stephensson lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Sydney Jones really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Bushido Fightwear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
