Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chester Barcelona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ze Minotauro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minotauro has chosen Buckethead - jump man as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minotauro lands a jab to the head.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Barcelona checks a leg kick.
Barcelona throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Minotauro wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
We've been informed that Minotauro has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Barcelona wants to clinch
and Minotauro counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Barcelona throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Minotauro's waist but Minotauro gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Barcelona off to one side.

Minotauro tries a quick counter leg kick but Barcelona is wise to it.
Donk. Minotauro catches Barcelona right on the button with a cross.

Minotauro clinches up with Barcelona and pushes him back against the cage.

Barcelona jumps guard and drags Minotauro to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Minotauro cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Minotauro lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Barcelona keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Barcelona is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Barcelona moves forwards but Minotauro connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like Chester Barcelona has been cut.
Barcelona doesn't manage to clinch there - Minotauro circles away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Minotauro! But no joy.
Chester Barcelona seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Minotauro pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Barcelona tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Minotauro manages to circle out of the way.
Barcelona shoots in looking for a takedown but Minotauro manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Barcelona's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Minotauro now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Minotauro has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Barcelona tries for a takedown but Minotauro sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Barcelona tries to break free but Minotauro pushes him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Minotauro creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Barcelona with a big uppercut! Barcelona tries to clinch up but Minotauro pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Barcelona to the mat! Barcelona covers up and Minotauro unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
